New Delhi: A significant step forward has been taken toward further strengthening India's defense sector. The Ministry of Defense has officially issued a 'Letter of Request' to France regarding the procurement of 114 Rafale fighter jets for the Indian Air Force (IAF). Relevant sources revealed that the Ministry's acquisition wing submitted this request last week for the defense deal, which is estimated to be worth approximately ₹3.25 lakh crore.
